We had Jesse come out and quote us for some flooring issues we had. Him and his wife were so honest and know their business. We went with them and he showed up on time, got to work, him and his crew were professional but fun to talk to. We were having our hard wood floors “fixed” bc you can’t get the boards anymore and our cracked tiles replaced, both jobs done flawlessly. They stained the hard woods and it matches so well. The tiles they found are so close. 10/10 recommend this company.

I met Jesse and Jenny after a very unpleasant experience with another contractor and they have been fantastic. They initially worked on my home, doing a kitchen remodel and did such a good job I had them redo the flooring in my entire house (beautiful job, and finished WAY before I expected). Since then, they've done work on my girlfriends house, and I use them for all of my rentals. It's incredibly difficult to find a company that is transparent, honest, and does what they will say they will do. These folks are the real deal. The pricing is fair and very competitive, but even if it wasn't, the completed jobs are outstanding quality and worth the cost. These folks are an absolute breath of fresh air, so much so that I hesitate to leave a review for fear they may get too busy to keep helping me, lol. Just kidding Jesse. If anyone wants specifics from me, I'm happy to share all of the different kinds of jobs they've done for me, just hit me up. They can pretty much do anything. 6 out of 5 stars
Very professional! Jesse was able to come out and fix my wall the very next day. The process was quick and simple. Jesse knows what he is doing as well. He also showed me how to prevent issues with my drywall in the future. I highly recommend this company.

I recently had Southern Home remodeling do a garage project for me and siding repairs. As a single Mom, it’s important for me to find and be able to trust people that are honest and fair and do good work! Southern home went above and beyond in every way!! When I scheduled an estimate, Jesse and his lovely wife Jenny came out and listened to what my concerns were and needs and were very thorough and gave a very fair estimate! They made necessary repairs to the inside of the garage, painted and custom built shelving with a workbench and installed a new door with a dog door. I called Jesse in a panic because some of my siding was coming off and it was calling for more rain in the forecast and he came out that night with his family to personally make the repair. I then asked him to do an additional estimate for necessary siding replacement and caulking. He took his time to ensure nothing was overlooked and told me the boards that needed replacement. When his crew came out to do the work, I didn’t have to worry about anything. Mike, John and the rest of the Southern Home employees did a fantastic job and were very professional, personable and diligent. I would not hesitate to use them in the future and highly recommend them for all your home projects needs. They also gave me a discount because I am a nurse which spoke volumes to how they give back to the community! Highest praise!! 😊👍🏻

We had them do flooring, exterior paint, and a backsplash and fix issues that other contractors from a different company messed up. They show up on time and the prices are fair, and biggest thing is that they back up their work. Jesse came out on the weekend to fix what I thought was a problem (but it turned out to be nothing). I’m going to keep working with them on everything I need

I would like to give a huge shout out to Southern Home Remodeling and Handyman. They did an amazing job fixing and repairing our home (drywall, flooring, ceiling, steps, baseboard, molding, insulation, and painting) after the winter freeze caused our pipes to freeze and burst. They were always on time, very communicative throughout the whole process and did exceptional work. They didn't miss a single detail and made sure everything was perfect before leaving the job. Great experience and great people to work with.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Southern Home. Jesse came out the same day to give us a quote on the home repairs that we needed to have done. He emailed the figures to us the next day, and they were very reasonable. He was able to get started within days and everything went along as scheduled. They showed up on time, did excellent work, and cleaned up. On top of all of that, Jesse and Jenny let our curious kids see what was happening and got them involved in some of our house painting - they got to be part of the work crew for the day and they felt so important. My bathroom looks AMAZING! I really did not think the little space in our basement would look so beautiful. From start to finish, Southern Home was great to work with. Everyone was very communicative and talked us through everything that was being done that day and were always there to answer questions. They had to come up with some ideas along the way to make the space “work” but they always kept us in the loop. The job was completed in about a week, which was great too! It’s great to know that when we have a project we’ll know who to call.
I wish I had a “before” photo to share so you could see our new beautiful ceiling. We sprung a leak in our family room that was cause by a rotted soffit. The damage was so bad that a part of the ceiling fell to the ground. Southern Home worked magic and replaced the entire ceiling so there wouldn’t be patchwork line. Wow, the result is beautiful! I am starting a list of everything we need to have repaired or painted then giving them a call.
